We are looking for “exceptional” and experienced Software Engineers for Greenfield projects in London and New York. This team is focused on building brand new automated and distributed computing platforms for a new treasury business. These are all completely Greenfield projects that require senior SRE to work closely with the server-side engineers to architect, design and develop robust, world-class and distributed firmwide platforms.
Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of how applications function and are able to change applications for production quality
Design and deploy a new generation of production infrastructure.
Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of applications
Own the automation of repetitive tasks and resolution of systematic issues
Identify and deliver engineering solutions for issues based on root cause analysis
Own incident management and resolution
Evangelizing the SRE mindset to other teams
Ensure applications are production-ready
Talents
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in complex entreprise systems environment
High proficiency in Linux, programming, and Kubernetes/Openshift.
Strong background in computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems
Comfortable with a range of current software development tools and practices (testing, source control, build systems, CI/CD etc)
Understanding of TCP/IP networking, LAN and WAN, Linux networking
Ability to work in high demand environments, ability to adjust to rapidly changing requirements.
Experience building and managing highly reliable large-scale systems
Passion for learning, adapting to changing requirements and technology and inventing new approaches to hard problems
