​Specialist Global Market Making firm is hiring for a “career-driven” Senior Software Engineer to help scale and expand their market-leading platform, and design, develop, and optimize low latency exchange and market connectivity, and execution systems. As a senior engineer, you will be a key team member with full product and design responsibility in addition to implementation.

You will become a core part of a small and rapidly growing engineering team in New York with responsibility for the design and development of high performance, low-latency trading systems for huge volumes of digital assets. We are looking for senior engineers with expertise design and implementing low-latency systems for exchange and market connectivity, and execution for the traditional asset classes. Engineers with a passion for excellent design, beautiful code, high-performance/latency, and enjoys solving incredibly complex technical problems.

We are looking for

  • 5+ years of high-performance software design and engineering experience.

  • Experience working on low-latency systems projects on either exchange/market connectivity, or execution.

  • Highly proficient in OO, system design, architecture, algorithms, data structure, latency, and the FIX Protocol

  • The technical stack is Java, but happy to consider C++ or other OO languages if you have the domain experience required and you are happy to learn/use Java.

On offer

  • Base salary: $200,000 - $230,000

  • Annual bonus range: 60%-100%
