We are looking for someone to
Support the front office trading desks, identify and troubleshoot issues, and drive resolutions.
Perform start of day checkouts, monitor the Electronic Trading and Order/Execution management systems, and ensure business continuity.
Assist in the deployment, checkout, and QA testing of applications, and writing scripts
Automate everything, drive forward best operational practices, and increase the reliability of production systems
What you need
Service-oriented engineer with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both technology and investment teams (algo portfolio managers, traders, quants).
An analytical individual who pays close attention to detail, and capable of building consensus.
Takes complete ownership of problems, diving deep to determine solutions and resolution.
Experience in, and passionate about, Electronic/Algorithmic/high-frequency/Quant Trading.
Technical skills
Linux and Linux-based systems including but not limited to job scheduling, trouble-shooting processes, machine configurations.
Scripting in Perl, Python or similar
Some programming exposure with OO languages (C++/Java)
Relational databases such as Sybase, SQL or KDB
Strong experience working with OMS, EMS and high-performance trading systems
Good knowledge of Credit/Fixed income products and trading lifecycles

Base salary range: £100k-£160k
Annual bonus range: 100%-200%
